Playwrighting for Social Change is a unique course designed for aspiring playwrights from around the world who are passionate about using their storytelling skills to inspire and effect social change. Whether you are a seasoned writer or just starting out, this course will equip you with the tools and knowledge to craft powerful, impactful plays.
In this course, you will:

Learn the basics of playwrighting, including structure, character development, and dialogue.

Receive One on One personalized feedback on your progress

Dive into various social issues and learn how to weave them into compelling narratives.

Gain inspiration from a curated collection of impactful play scripts.

Complete either a one-act play, the first act of a full-length play, or an outline for a full length play.
Festival Entry: Playwrights who complete the workshop with a one-act play will have their play considered for HoneyVic's summer Play Festival, where 4 winners will receive a full production of their play.
