We are thrilled that you are interested in submitting your One Act Play to our inaugural Playwrighting for Social Change Festival! Please follow the steps below to complete your registration and submission.

Festival Date 
June 16-22, 2025

Submission Guidelines:

• Theme: Social Issues (any aspect or interpretation)

• Length: One Act Plays (no more than 30 mins)
• # of characters:  No more than 5
• Period:  Modern
• Set:  Simple; no more than two locations
• Format: Standard Playscript format
• Submission Fee: $25
• Open to playwrights worldwide (no residency requirement)
• Submission Period: August 1, 2023 - December 1, 2023

Winners Committment:

• Winners will not be required to attend the rehearsal sessions or the production but are welcome to attend if they are able
• Each winning playwright will receive two tickets to distribute to whomever they choose.

Step 2: Payment of Submission Fee

• Ensure your submission fee of $25 is paid through our Festival Portal above. Only plays with a corresponding payment will be considered.
